Easiest Apple Dumpling Bake

This was something I learned at a cooking class I went to tonight and it was just so good and yet so quick I thought I would share!
Ingredients:
2 eight oz cans refridgerator cresent rolls (8 rolls per can)
2 medium Granny smith apples, peeled and sliced into 8 pieces
1 cup sugar
1/3 melted butter
3/4 cup Sprite
Cinnamon

Unroll dough and pull apart to make 16 triangles. Roll apple into each triangle and place in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
In a bowl mix butter and sugar. Spread over rolls. Slowly pour Sprite over rolls. DO NOT STIR!
Sprinkle with cinnamon & bake uncovered @ 350 for 35-40 minutes.
Serves 8 (2 dumplings each)
Can serve with vanilla ice cream, cool whip or whipped cream.
Its really easy to make and yet tastes so good! Have fun and I'd love to hear if you like it.

I am DEFINITELY going to have to try this recipe. It doesn't sound too difficult, so I think I will be able to manage it. :) Yummy.

Jill I want to make this. I have a question about what you bake it in and when you add the apples.

You put the apples in the center of the croissant when you role it and I've just put it a 9x13 Pryex glass dish.
