So several months ago there was a contest going on within the "Eye World." All you had to do to enter was submit a photo that showed your city. When I heard this I immediately thought of this picture I had taken of Eric up in Skagway. I submitted and then almost instantaniously forgot about it. This afternoon however I received a package in the mail with the new calendar of all the winning photos. Much to my surprise and delight was Eric's picture!

This is the front of the calendar with all the winning photos. As you can see lots of them were very artistic and very good.

My very own, MR. OCTOBER!!!
As you can also see, mine would be a little lacking artistically but definately meets the criteria. Do you think they questioned the fact that I noted I'm from Texas but somehow there is snow in the backround with lots of Alaskan flags? Hmm, oh well. Also the prise isn't only that I get my name in the calendar but that I will also receive a brand new camera. Yeah, I'm excited!

    Not to mention how did they get a cruise ship in College Station? Congrats, I am amazed at the number of contests you win, not to mention your very own "Mr. October"...Something's sizzling in Texas...:)

    That is pretty awesome Jill! You're published! Congrats and how exciting that you get a new camera, that's pretty cool! Lucky you, having your very own pinup guy...doesn't get much better than that!

    WOW Jill that is exciting!! Personally I love the none artistic pictures best they have more spirit and love in 'em :P I like the picture YA you have a caldenar boy!
