So the other night, Eric woke up and told me about a dream he had just had. LaNea had been born only two nights ago but he walked into her room to find her sitting down and reading a book. Not just any type of book but a novel in comparison with something I would read. She then started talking to him and asking him questions about things. He tried to explain to her that she isn't supposed to be talking or even reading yet but she didn't listen...and then he woke up.
So this last week I thought I was heading to Houston to meet with Shauna and the girls to go shopping for baby supplies. I had NO idea though that this wasn't the plan. After lunch Thursday I was informed that Shauna wasn't coming to see but that even better I would be going to see her! I couldn't have been more thrilled. If you don't believe me, feel free to look at Shauna's blog for the proof.
As if a surprise trip to California wasn't exciting enough, I also got a surprise shower! The week was so relaxing and completely stress-free. Everything I could ever have wanted. The shower also looked and was amazing. Here are some pictures I stole from other's blogs to give you a small idea as to how great it was.
So the food was all delicious but these brownie bites were just amazing! It made being healthy simply impossible, and yet I didn't feel bad at all.
This was a great gift from Folsom Optometry. Kendall had warned me that it would take a while to take apart but I didn't fully believe her til the night before we left and I needed to unravel each one to get everything to fit. I think I'll be set for diapers for at least the first week right?
This was all part of the wonderful decorations. As you can see our little girl will have a beautiful blessing dress as well as be completely stylish!
