Adam got to visit us before he left for Korea for a year. I went and picked him up from Houston on Wednesday night and we brought him up to Dallas this morning. We had fun despite that we spent most our time simply talking and laughing. As Adam is probably the one other person who reads both as fast as I do and as much as I do, we had fun going to the used bookstores and looking for books. Even though it was short, it was great to have him out here.
Adam Left at 10:50 am for his thirteen hour flight to Korea. Do not worry though he now has eight books he is excited to read to keep him entertained. He was also thrilled that he'll be getting a meal while on the plane. Its the little things.
Adam has two faces now. One that I grew up with that always looks like he is laughing at something and then this one where nothing looks funny at all. He says he learned this one while at boot camp and can't think of anything other keep every muscle straight.
This was Adam all packed up and heading out!
My favorite memory of Adam was when he was very little. A cop was asking each of us some questions for fun that would go on a video later. When it was Adam's turn he was asked the simple question of "what is your name." As Adam is never nervous he confidently replies "I'm Adam Newey Scott Newey." In my mind that's how I always hear his name.
