Trouble with Cats and Infants...

So lately both Eric and I have been in full-blown parent mode. Its even there as we sleep. A couple nights ago Eric awoke and was terrified when he felt Lanie off to his side and couldn't figure out how she got there and worried that she would fall off. But when he reached out to grab her, all he felt was a handful of fur and a lot of meows.
Then last night, I set my alarm to wake me up to make sure I could feed her but I didn't fully wake up when it went off. A few minutes later I reached over to grab Lanie to get her ready to eat but I first felt a tail. Immediately I try to figure out where Bella was. I couldn't find her but it took me a little while as I tried to figure out how my daughter had grown a tail.
So needless to say we are either becoming somewhat confused over loss of sleep or our cat is set on making us crazy as fast as possible.

That is hilarious. I remember Lexie being in bed with me one night, and to this day I have no idea how she got there. Kinds scary when that happens, glad he realized it was only the cat. I'm also glad you didn't try to nurse bella, that could have turned out bad!:)

Oh I remember those days of no sleep. Too funny about your cat.

That's funny. Is that why the cat has disappeared? She's decided to sleep elsewhere for fear of having a diaper placed on her?

Memories of Michaela and Pook our cat. Pook loved Michaela from day one. We would put Michaela down for a nap in her crib and when we would go check on her, Pook would be laying by her legs asleep in the crib.

Cats are adorable with babies in my opinion.

I think that would freak me out to find a cat where my baby is supposed to be. See Bella's either being helpful or she's jealous that there is some one new getting all the attention now. Or it could be both or neither. Cats are funny that way

Cats make you crazy! That's what they are for.

Oh and use this as a montra:

    Babys don't grow tails.

That way when it happens again (we know you jill-b) you wont freak out :D Or feed the wrong mewing little thing.
